German Jobless Rate Increases Less Than Expected

 



Despite sluggish economic growth, German unemployment climbed less than anticipated in September, according to official figures released on Friday.


The Federal Labor Agency reported on Friday that the unemployment rate rose by 20,000 in August but only by 10,000 in September. 15 000 more people projected to be unemployed.
